Message To The Future | United States | Message2thefuture

Image
"Study the past, if you would divine the future" - Confucius That's the message on the main page of Message 2 The Future , which claims it can send any message of yours to someone in the future. Its services include: Sending a message to the future, a d*ck pic to some as-of-yet unborn person, or a letter to a specific address.

Bury Me With My Money

Image
Ever found yourself in a website asking yourself: "Why ?". Well, you're about to. This absurd little website will challenge you to find anything beneath its surface. Yet, you will still find that there is nothing more to Bury Me With My Money that meets the eye. No matter how hard you keep looking, nothing more will happen in this odd website than the continuous free fall of a serial suicider who will keep urging you to bury him with his money, only after his fall oddly enough.

cachemonet.com

Image
Flags waving. Cats running. Pyramids spinning. And a man on a hoverboard. No, I'm not losing it. But those are some examples of the visuals you can experience on cachemonet.com . The whole thing is rather odd and surreal. The fact that it is accompanied by a melody composed of various Windows message sounds is just the icing on this odd cake. Though you might want to lower the volume down beforehand.

diep.io

Image
diep.io is an odd little game that happens to look a lot like agar.io, but even harder if possible. The hard part comes from the stiff movements which rely on both the mouse pad, as well as the arrow keys to both move the tank and aim it at opponents. I'm not sure if this little game would be even on my radar if it weren't for the similarities with agar.io. Nonethless, you should still give it a try

ZOMBO

Image
This is Zombo.com . Welcome to Zombo.com. Forwarding this link to a friend is sure to get their blood boiling as it offers nothing other than what is there on the surface. For real, all there is to Zombo is the same sound giving different deliveries of the same message over a bland webpage. And this is exactly why it's a perfectly odd website to share with your friends.

GeoGuessr - Let's explore the world!

Image
GeoGuessr is a fun, but also odd little interactive game that challenges you to guess the locations based on 360° pictures from Google. The pictures can be of anything, either something very distinctive (i.e. monuments) or, in some cases, pictures of bland locations (i.e. deserts). The latter are the hardest ones to guess. You can play on either single player mode or challenger mode by signing up. So happy guessing !

Zalgo Text Generator

Image
Zalgo Text Generator is a website to f*ck up your text using multiple character references. Plain and simple. You have options to focus the effect on the top, middle, or bottom of the text. You can also change the degree of the f*cked-up-ness from 'mini' to 'normal' to 'maxi'.

The Nicest Place on the Internet

Image
This is the blandest of all bland websites I've ever come across so far. The Nicest Place on the Internet is no more than a blank web page with a transparent heart in the upper left corner that can be highlighted. Oh, and there's a sad slow song playing over the whole thing. Yes, that is it. Going in to this absurd website, you're most likely to try and and find something -anything- behind it, but trust I've tried and there's not much to be seen. But it is a prefect clickbait website to forward to any of your fiends that is sure to leave them scratching their heads.

Find the Invisible Cow

Image
In this very absurd website, you have one simple and very clear objective: Find the Invisible Cow . Yeah, that's basically it. Like a 'hot' or 'cold' game of directions, you are told to move your cursor over the screen, using only the different pitches of the "COW" sound as a clue towords your cow. It may not amount to much except for bragging rights as you get to share your results on both Facebook and Twitter. And despite being an odd little game, it has managed to find an audience of over 25 mil. worldwide.

Do We Feel the Bern???

Image
Now this is one special kind of web oddity. DoWeFeeltheBern? is the kind of website that manages to be all it advertizes with the smallest amount of content possible, as it references the 2016 Presidential Election meme on Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders. It is also a great example of the kind of random humour that few can appreciate, and which leaves most scratching their heads. So forwarding this link is sure to get you some question marks for the most part. Be sure to check back next time for some more Internet Oddities.

Internet Oddities ??!

Hi there, this is Said welcoming you to Internet Oddities. As we surf the net, it's rare to know just exactly what we could find out as we are exploring, on which website we could end up with. You could be browsing videos from your Youtube feed, but two or three videos later, you could be looking at a video of a niche interest you were never aware ever existed. This is why I have decided to try compiling in this blog all the examples of Internet Oddities any regular web-surfer could come through. Hope You Enjoy It.
